As a wedding florist herself, flowers have always been at the center of the celebrations Mabry helps create for others. For her own bridal portraits in Austin, Texas, it only felt right that florals would take center stage in the same way. These Austin wedding photos became even more meaningful when Mabry designed her own bouquet while wearing her wedding dress. Watching a florist step into the role of bride felt like such a full-circle moment. Every texture and color choice reflected not only her eye for design, but the love she’s poured into weddings for so many couples before her.
These Austin bridal portraits at Wish Well House were a celebration of the artistry behind florals and the story of a florist finally creating something beautiful for her own wedding day.

One of the things I’ve come to love most about working in the wedding industry in Texas is the friendships that grow with other creatives along the way. Over time, the vendors you work alongside stop feeling like vendors and start feeling more like teammates—people who care deeply about the couple and the story being told that day. Being surrounded by talented planners, florists, and designers has shaped my career in the best way, constantly reminding me why I’m so passionate about this work.
That’s part of what made Mabry’s bridals so special to photograph. Mabry is the founder of The Flowered Blue, a floral design studio known for creating thoughtful, custom arrangements for weddings across Texas. Seeing someone who has spent years designing florals for other couples finally step into the role of bride herself felt like such a sentimental moment to be cherished.
Getting to photograph her bridals while she arranged her own bouquet was such a beautiful reflection of that passion, and a reminder of why I love this industry so much: the creativity, the community, and the joy of watching talented people celebrate their own love stories too.

Bridal portraits are such a special part of the wedding experience. They create space to slow down, celebrate this season of your life, and capture the details you’ve spent so much time dreaming up—from your dress to the florals that bring the entire vision together.
If you’re planning bridal portraits in Austin, Texas and love the idea of photographs that feel timeless, emotional, and true to the story of your day, I would love to be part of it. Sessions like Mabry’s are a beautiful reminder that every wedding detail carries meaning. Especially when it reflects the people and passions that brought you here.
