Kelsi’s bridal session at Hummingbird Hill reminded me why I love what I do. This little venue in Chappell Hill feels like home—cozy, faith-filled, and completely authentic. The owners are a sweet couple who love Jesus and somehow make everyone who steps onto their property feel like family. I felt an immediate connection with them and their heart for creating a space where faith is celebrated so freely. And the highland cows? Don’t even get me started. They might’ve stolen the show for a minute, but Kelsi’s joy outshined everything around her. Every detail came together in the most effortless way.

Bridal sessions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding experience. They give brides a chance to slow down—to breathe, to feel, and to fully soak in this fleeting chapter before the day itself rushes by. There’s something so special about getting to spend extra time in your wedding dress, letting yourself feel like a bride without the timeline or pressure of the wedding day. Kelsi embodied that perfectly.
She honored her Southern roots in the sweetest way by wearing her white cowboy boots, walking barefoot through the grass, and getting up close to the cows without a second thought. As a Texas girl myself, I loved every bit of it. That openness and joy is what made photographing her so effortless. Every single moment felt so genuinely her—like a true reflection of her heart and the season she’s in.

Kelsi’s bridal session at Hummingbird Hill was such a sweet reminder of why I love photographing this part of the wedding journey. Being a bride can feel overwhelming, with so many details and moments racing by. But bridals give you a chance to slow down and fully soak in this fleeting (yet exciting!) season. That’s what I aim to capture in every session: the essence of who you are and the joy that radiates from simply being you. If you’re a Chappell Hill bride who values genuine connection, storytelling, and the kind of photos that feel like home, I’d be honored to tell your story next.
