A Luxury Wedding in Austin With Vibrant, Artful Floral Design

Gabriel and Mabry’s luxury wedding in Austin, Texas, at Wish Well House was a beautiful example of how intentional design, artistry, and heartfelt connection can truly make a wedding day unforgettable. The venue itself was the perfect backdrop that highlighted every carefully curated detail and design element.

The beautiful bride, Mabry, is a wonderfully talented wedding florist (more on this below!). What made this day so special wasn’t just celebrating her wedding. It was getting to work alongside another amazing vendor and connect with the incredible Austin wedding community I’ve grown to love. I’ve had the joy of documenting Mabry through so many milestones—her proposal (which, yes, just happened to be in the RAIN), her engagement photos, and even her timeless bridal portraits! Witnessing this day come to life and capturing it for such a dear friend of mine meant the absolute world. I can’t tell you how much I adore this job!

Artistry Woven Into Every Detail

Mabry is the founder of The Flowered Blue, a wedding florals design studio known for creating thoughtful, custom arrangements for weddings across Texas. Seeing a talented couple who has spent years designing florals for others finally step into the role of bride and groom themselves felt like such a sentimental moment to be cherished.

From the bride’s bouquet and stationery to the gorgeous arch and open reception space, every element of this wedding in Austin was intentionally curated to tell their story. Bright, colorful florals filled the venue, creating an atmosphere that felt both vibrant and immersive. Being there felt like stepping into a carefully written love letter—to each other, and to the career that brought them together.

Where Wedding Florals Became An Experience

Over 10,000 stems were thoughtfully arranged throughout the venue—yes, 10,000 (someone pinch me!). Lush installations, delicate accents, and every single bloom came together to create a setting alive with color, texture, and movement. What truly amazed me was how seamlessly all the vibrant the colors blended together. Usually, wedding palettes are kept minimal so the florals don’t distract from the couple. But Gabriel and Mabry redefined what it means to celebrate in full color. The wedding florals didn’t clash or compete; they elevated the atmosphere and, most importantly, highlighted the sweet couple at the heart of it all.
