There’s something so special that happens when a couple shows up with their hearts wide open. Abigail and Sean did just that for their garden engagement photos, and because of it, we were able to create imagery that felt more like a glimpse into their love story than a posed photoshoot. We wandered through soft garden paths, laughing and twirling like it was their own little date night. Every moment was honest, free, and full of joy — just the way I believe it should be!
I don’t believe in cookie-cutter sessions. I take the time to get to know the couples I photograph because your story matters deeply to me. It’s what guides the way I document! The quiet in-between moments, the bursts of laughter, the tenderness that can’t be scripted. Abigail and Sean reminded me why I love what I do: photographing people as they are, in love, fully present, and wholly themselves.
Before their session, I sent over a short questionnaire. Just a few thoughtful prompts to help me get to know them better. But the answers they shared? They melted me! Sean spoke about how he loves Abigail most when she’s simply being herself — kind, full of life, and smiling without shame. He said their relationship is grounded in joy, the kind that overflows from the love of Jesus. Abigail shared how Sean’s goofy spirit breaks her out of her shell and makes even the quiet moments unforgettable.
She described him as the greatest gift she could’ve received, and said she hopes to remember, even 20 years from now, how deeply they care for each other, and how the Lord has been at the center of it all. These words helped shape the entire feel of our session, turning it into more than a photoshoot. It became a reflection of everything they cherish: laughter, presence, and a love that’s both light-hearted and deeply rooted. I absolutely adore this job and all my sweet couples!
If you’re dreaming of garden engagement photos that feel joyful, intentional, and rooted in something deeper, I’d be honored to help tell your love story. Whether your session feels like a romantic date or a moment to reflect on the journey you’ve shared, my goal is to document your connection just as it is: warm, faith-filled, and full of life.
