There’s just something about film wedding photography that I adore. It’s soft, dreamy, and packed with nostalgia, bringing out the kind of emotion that transports you right back to the moment. That’s exactly why I’m obsessed with shooting both film and digital! As a hybrid photographer in Austin, TX, I love blending the timeless beauty of film with the versatility of digital to give my couples the best of both worlds. Whether it’s the way film captures light so effortlessly or the crisp, true-to-life feel of digital, both mediums work together to tell your wedding story in the most authentic and artful way. If you’re dreaming of wedding photos that feel romantic, real, and timeless, you’re in the right place! Let’s talk about why digital and film wedding photography are the perfect pair for your Austin wedding.
Gabby and Zac’s wedding at Villa Antonia was straight out of a dream! Seriously, this venue is like Tuscany in Texas (and I’ll never get over it)! Every corner of the day was filled with joy, laughter, and the kind of love that makes your heart swell. From the vibrant pops of color in their florals to the way Zac looked at Gabby like she was the only person in the world, every moment felt so incredibly authentic and full of emotion. I swear my cheeks were hurting from smiling so much behind the camera! And don’t even get me started on the ceremony. Capturing their love was the biggest honor, and if their photos don’t make you tear up (in the best way), I don’t know what will!
When it comes to photography, I live to document. I want to create imagery of your day as it happened, curating memories that are both artistic and authentic. I want to see your tears, your laughs, the hugs you give your grandparents after you say “I do”. These in between moments cannot be scripted, and I don’t want it to be that way.
That’s exactly why I shoot with both digital and film photography! Your wedding day deserves to be captured in a way that feels timeless, true, and completely you. Digital gives me the freedom to document every little moment as it unfolds, while film brings an unmatched depth, warmth, and nostalgia that just can’t be replicated. There’s something so special about the soft, dreamy tones of film. The way it captures light, movement, and emotion in the most romantic, organic way. Together, they create a wedding gallery that is not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful, preserving your love story with both crisp clarity and vintage charm. Every bride deserves that magic!
Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and it deserves to be documented in a way that feels real, timeless, and uniquely you. That’s why I’m so passionate about blending digital and film photography. It’s my mission to capture every laugh, every happy tear, and every in-between moment with both crisp clarity and nostalgic warmth. From the pure joy of Gabby and Zac’s Villa Antonia wedding to the breathtaking beauty of Austin’s best venues, I want to tell your love story in a way that feels authentic and deeply meaningful.
