Capturing Shayli and Cody’s documentary-style engagement photos in Texas was SO fulfilling! From the moment we started, their genuine connection and playful energy made every photo feel natural and true to their love story. My approach is all about authenticity—focusing on real moments and genuine interactions, rather than trends. It was important to me to document their love in a way that felt true to who they are, and I believe that shines through in every photo! This session was a perfect example of why I value a documentary-style approach, capturing the essence of each couple’s unique journey. When Flower Field Dreams Come True
Shayli had been dreaming of a yellow field of flowers, a vision that seemed nearly impossible to find at the beach. We had almost given up on making that dream a reality until the day before our session. As I arrived at my Airbnb, I was greeted by the most stunning flower field right on the side of the road! What are the odds?! It felt like fate hehe, and I knew this unexpected discovery would add the perfect magical touch to their engagement photos. It was such a joy to see Shayli’s face light up when she saw the field, and the resulting photos perfectly captured her dream come to life!
